For riding 90% North Wales and Cheshire, Horseshoe, The Shelf, Penbarras, Clwyd Gate, Bwlch Y Groes, Bala etc etc. That is pretty much all my training rides, will be looking to use these in events as well, Welsh Etape and Wild Wales are both very likely, but highly unlikely to be any club time trials. I currently ride a Ribble R872 with Veloce, and weigh around 13st

Currently use Zonda's been excellent, but they are going on the Winter Bike.

I have it down to 3 at the moment. From around £600-800, with very slight leeway as below.

Ksyrium SLR £808 - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mavi ... lsrc=aw.ds

Zipp 60 £760 - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/zipp-60-clinche ... 1&curr=GBP

Shamal Ultra £600 - http://www.probikekit.co.uk/bicycle-whe ... lsrc=aw.ds

These Shamals get superb reviews, maybe don't have aesthetics of the 2 above them here, but I can accept that if I'm not losing much else in terms of performance for a £200 saving.

EDIT: Ignore the Zipps. No Campy in stock. But can find them for around the same price as the SLR's if highly recommended.

Like you, I had Zondas as my main wheels before they went on my winter bike.

Replaced them with Shamals which I love. Hubs are really nice and they seem to roll well to me.

    Can't speak for the others.
