Hi everybody, i'm just new here and i would like to know if anybody knows the type of this canyon bike
it says Canyon Aeroad CF F10, Framesize 58 (L), Shimano dura-ace 10 fit, Cosmic rims.
But Aeroad CF F10 doesn't exist. I know its dura-ace 7900, i looked on the Canyon site but I can't find it
I hope somebody recognize the type and whether he can indicate how much he is worth today so i can make the bid on the auction
Many thanks :o

    Welcome to the forum.
The F10 frame was introduced around 2004 or there abouts I believe, do a Google search you make get some more info, link below to a 2011 catalog featuring the F10 framed bikes and link to mag article.

  • thanks for the information , bid offer today is 1850 euro / 2250 dollar / 1450 pounds, price in 2011 was 3700 euro / 4500 dollar / 2900 pounds without the dura-ace pedals, is this still profitable?

Only you can decide if it is worth the money. TBH I would buy the latest CF SL with 105 for £1399 with full supplier warranty, not an aero frame but very highly rated.
The group set can always be replaced with what you consider an upgrade as and when it wears out, 105 is a really popular group set and regarded as very good by many people that use it.
  • As posted above, at that price I'd just go for a new Canyon Aeroroad with Ultegra which you have the returns for and can have set up to your specific geometry. Or go for a much higher spec/ cheaper Ultimate CF.

EDIT: That DA chainset posted shows significant wear- look at the teeth at 90degrees from the cranks where the most force is put through the drivetrain. They have been mishapen which means that chainring will be wearing out quite soon. Then you have to ask yourself what else is about to wear out as well?

  • yes i am dutch as well, i made a bid yesterday 1650 euro is 1850 euro including taxes and other costs, what do you mean with the small print? i have read them but noticed no strange things, could you pm me?
  • Somehow I am not be able to response on pm messages but would like to say I am aware of the fact of additional costs, for this bike "only" 12.5% auction fee (-Margin DRZA- good is a good margin on which VAT has already been paid. The mark-up percentage is made up of 12.5% auction fee) making a total price of 1856.25 Euros
