Rockshox fake or real?

Just bought a set of recon solo air off ebay. they look fine but the serial number is on two stickers, not engraved as on my older recon 351.

anyone know if it is normal that the serial number is a sticker?

It's probably a OEM / Grey Import fork.

OEM models sometimes have the serial number on stickers instead of being stamped on the crown.

There was a recent thread on mtbr where someone was concerned about a Rockshox fork they bought not having the serial number on the crown, later on this person contacted Rockshox and their reply was that fork was probably a grey import and some OEM forks only have the serial numbers on stickers.

I have bikes with OEM forks (obviously came with them). They have stamped serial numbers.
