Xt brake pads

Silly question but when installing the pads and they are marked left and right is that from looking at the bike straight on from the front for left and right pad

cranks are on the right so go by that.

Yeah thee fin type are left and right

They've always been able to be left and right if the tabs or connecting bolts/clips were in a position other than the middle!
