FSA Bar width advice please

Hi

Currently have FSA Wing Pro Compacts that say 40cm on them but measuring them they seem to be 40cm at the drops and 38cm at the hoods (ctoc). I am considering FSA K-Force compacts as long as they are actually 40CM at the hoods or are all FSA bars measured at the drops like my current bars ?

    All drop bars that I'm aware of measure at the open ends of the drops FSA included. Be aware that FSA and some other brands measure center to center while some measure from the outside edges. Hood measurements will be less consistent due to the different bends of different models.

    AFAIK Zipp made some models that were measured at the shifters.

    i have a set of 44cm FSA K-Force new ergo bars (2014). They are 44cm centre to centre at the drops and 42cm at the hoods. So narrower at the top. The same as your FSA Wing Pro Compacts.

    Im not sure if all models of FSA bars are like this though.
