So Christmas is drawing in, and you'll probably want to sneak off away from the family and waste some time surfing the internet.
Only, it's the middle of winter, and there's no cycling other than bizarre novelty cyclocross which is for perverts and the truly desperate.
So, what you should do, is fill your time reminiscing about the 2014 cycling season, and watching your favourite clips.
Don't mind what it is, how long or short it is, but let's see the vids from 2014 that will keep you going through the fallow months.
I'll start with the last 30 mins of this year's Flanders: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAbldr9tENg

Don't for one minute believe that on bike cameras are "the future" but enjoyed this sprint by Giant - amazing to see it in full flight, the elbows the communication.

Thread prompted me to revisit a very wet day I had sitting by the roadside in Northern France. A spectacular day but one in retrospect which should not have been allowed.

Happy memories of the free entertainment offered by listening to a good few people by the bar articulating how upset they were when Cav planted (including one woman saying she nearly cried! - incredible).0 -

WHAT?????????
Borderline bannable offence that one.
Ha! to be fair. I missed most of the TdF postings this year as I was at the roadside so wasn't sure how the arguments had played out. Stage 5 was my second most memorable sporting event of the year, just behind Leicester City beating Man U 5-3.
(Football reference probably invites a second yellow and therefore a three match ban...oops)0 -
BTW the Pantani film is now on Netflix.0
