Hi
I run a cycling tours and col bustin' enterprise in France. I don't want to flout any rules here and hint at who we are etc but I am wondering if this idea might work.
I can't get back to the UK to promote our stuff too often and would like to find 4 guys/gals who could hand out flyers at sportives and cycling related events that they are doing/going to anyway. In exchange for a FREE place at one of our 4 camps in France in 2015. One free place per camp. They are happening in April and May. 5 nights and 4 ride days of 100 miles each.
Or if anyone can suggest anything else i would really appreciate it.
Thanks

Mmm, not sure about giving people you don't know a free trip in return for handing out the leaflets, mainly because I'm not sure how you will know for sure that the leaflets were handed out. If you give someone 1000 leaflets to hand out, how do you know they've done it?0

There are promotions agencies who will do this for you - and provide evidence. They would charge you, obviously, but then you're effectively paying by offering a free training camp place anyway...0

Or offer a free holiday to someone in return for a review on his blog... 8)left the forum March 20230

What about offering places to writers on cycling publications in exchange for an article on your trips?0

Because then any value the article may have is just ignored in a blizzard of "well, he would say that, he got a free holiday out of it" comments.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Well he's only looking for 3 or 4 people, so if he can run the holidays I'm sure he's capable of talking to the interested people and working out if they are genuine or not.0 -
If you offer some sponsorship support , or a prize of a free trip at one of your camps to a Sportive, the organiser will promote/ hand out flyers with the joining instructions for you.0
