    bizarrely the more complex/expensive test equipment can often be had for proportionately far lower cost than more basic stuff

    I gave up lusting after another Mk1 Golf GTi when I realized that I’d have to get a proper job to afford one.

    Nothing else out there really gets me excited. Maybe a mk2 XR2. They were always cool and wouldn’t kill me like a Renault 5 thing.
