well went ahead and bought it and see how it went.

1 it is a bit bulky and feels a little heavy
2 its warm and a little sweaty have to say,was out tonight in about 6-7 degrees with just a base layer on and was warm as toast, didnt actually notice any sweat until i got home and took the jacket off and the base layer was a bit damp.
3 my cycling buddy said it shone up very well,he was quite impressed with it....so visibilty is excellent
4 cant say anything about how waterproof it was as it wasnt raining when we went out but it was pretty windy and can definitely say its pretty windproof in my opinion.
5 all in all it is a nice a comfy jacket and i'm very happy with it :D

How is the jacket fairing after a year? Has the reflective properties suffered with washing at all or faded over time. I have always fancied one of these but my concerns are over the longevity of the reflective fabric.

    Thanks ;)

I bought the gilet last year. Its still very warm - it can be dripping with sweat after an hour on the inside so I am glad I didn't buy the jacket. I have not washed it so I can't say how it performs in the wash. There's a little sign of abrasion in a few places but otherwise its stood up quite well
What I have noticed though is that cars do seem to give me a wider berth when I am wearing it than when I am not. This is not scientifically based though

Yeah I bet cars do give a wide berth to any "radioactive" cyclists which glow so brightly :) Nice to know that the reflective material seems to be robust .... I will have to keep an eye out for the next time they have a sale, thanks.
