Login problems

ETA - seems to be when I run a "search query" like the "New posts" link.

Any response, please? I can navigate the site fine except when using the "New Post" links when I'm asked to log in again. The "Problems with logging in" link on that page doesn't work either.

Not every time but once every couple of days for the last week or two - iphone, laptop & desktop

Nope - just clicked a link on my phone and had to log in but once I did so, my desktop still works OK (for now).

And it certainly never used to work like that - I had 3 devices permanently logged in and rarely had to log in again despite switching all the time.

Agreed in the past but this week I have been having to log in if I switch between 3 devices, otherwise fine.
Maybe okay on 2 devices, maybe just me.

No, just fired up the home laptop, having used the iphone and work computer on here during the day and I did NOT need to log in. Am still logged in from last night on the laptop. Had to log my work computer in first thing today and my iphone in at lunchtime when I first used them.

Interesting - all three devices working concurrently yesterday. This morning both my desktop and mobile need me to log in. Its starting to look like all devices lose their login simultaneously - maybe there is something on the server which is invalidating all the cookies?

It's started forgetting me now too. Happens at work in Firefox and IE, and at home on the iPad.

Although it logged me in this morning, so maybe they have fixed it??

I'm getting it the same way as PB, only being logged out on PCs after using my phone. At the risk of tempting fate I've not been logged out on my phone recently. Have logged it on the report form.
I've definitely cursed my phone now haven't I.

Same here.
Re-setting my password seemed to fix it, but now when I click on "new posts", as I usually do, it returns "nothing found".
Clicking on "report this problem" has no effect.

System doesn't automatically log me back in. Have to use password to see New Posts. Using only an Ipad.

Why? How many reports of the problem do you need before anything is done to fix it?

So that our development team is aware of each case and can work to rectify it. They are working on the issue, but it wasn't a simple fix as first expected.

Anybody else having problems with the website. I am having problems logging in and, after submitting my log in details, have to complete one of those 'Captcha' things to complete the process which is a pain in the rear end as they can be a bit hit or miss. I have also had a couple of posts from yesterday go missing and know of at least one other that it's also happened to.

Yes same. Won't work in Firefox but works fine in Chrome though?
