I have at the moment dura ace 9000 pedals but now looking at campagnolo record pro fit pedals to replace them.
I have had in the past mavic pedals but was so creaky.
Would you stick with the dura ace or are the campag pedals better?
everything on my bike is campag so that might be another reason to change.
PS I find the cleats on the shimano massive

Campagnolo cleats aren't much smaller.
DA9000 are very good pedals, keep them whatever you decide.0 -
Pedals are personal preference. Since they are only one of 3 contact points with the bike and only the saddle being the other major changable one its really more down to what you find comfortable. I would rather get Look or Speedplay with their reputation over Campagnolo just for the name. I have used SPD-SL Look keo and Speedplay and prefer the SPD-SL type. The next guy could prefer Look or Speedplay or something else. There is no real best pedal system like there is no best saddle. It has to fit you. Functionality must come first.0

What did you move from and how much change to your position did it make?0 -
Double sided, perfectly dialled in, recommended.
I got refitted to my bike when I got them. Basically saddle lowered a touch and stem accordingly.Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

I used speedplay but one a borrowed bike so not really set up perfect. How does the stack height compare to say shimano if you know?0

I'm not convinced stack height is all that critical for most of us though. However I do really like Speedplay.0 -

Cheers for the info. I was really more after knowing how much effect it would have on my position after being fitted would it throw it out much? Wouldn't want to have to go through another bike fit just because of changing pedals.0 -
I much prefer Speedplays over anything else. For me, they're just so much safer, in that you can pull away from junctions and not have to faff around flipping and clipping in. With Speedplays, you just stomp and go.
I swapped from Look Keos and I had to lower my saddle a few mm to compensate for the lower stack height.0 -
everything's campag on my bikes except the pedals which are Speedplay. i cant see the point in using anything else except when they get mud in them.Pegoretti

Not as easy as that. It can have a knock on effect to reach and saddle fore/aft position.
I know its only minimal but it still means more adjusting from a setup I am used to.0
