Old Shimano 105 hub - suitable for 10spd?

I've got some handbuilt wheels that I bought second hand a while back, which are fitted with a 9 speed cassette.

They are Shimano 105, with the type number FH5501 on them.

My question is, can I fit a 10 speed (Shimano) cassette on them?

It's just a hill. Get over it.

Yes, all older Shimano freehubs take 10 speed, acually the 10 sp-eed cassettes are narrower then 9 speed ones...

not quite right. some 10spd cassettes are thinner but not all.
