Yeah, myself and Bender have been secretly drooling over the red Swiss Cross for a while now... the red one is really just a CX bike with canti, totally unsuitable for road use given how bad cantis can be, but the disc one can be a valid alternative... shame it's not red...
That's a proper red. The Equilibrium cherry red was god awful.0 -

Not good enough to stop you in time if you travel at 40 mph is the answer. They have their use... off road and heavy loads mainlyleft the forum March 20230 -
I'm tempted by the Ritchey disc. But, with a stable of that for best, Condor for commuting and PX XLS for CX it might be a bit of black overload......My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Contrary to your experience, this thread has saved me money. It's reminded me that the Ritchey Road Logic exists and that I can build up a really cool one while saving hundreds. I can build something with discs if and when I get to cycle commute again.0 -
Ritchey is good... the man doesn't follow trends and you normally get no nonsense bikesleft the forum March 20230

I know... but you ave to add an extra 100-150 quid for a basic powder coat and new decals and the finish might not even be as good as the original.
Plus there is a part of me that thinks it's bonkers to buy a new frame and spend money to get it resprayed... it's a first world problem innit?
If I found one on Ebay that has some major scratches and it's in bad need of a respray, then it would make senseleft the forum March 20230
