2009 Rockshox Boxxers Axle Issue

I'm buying a bike off of a good friend and it is fitted with 2009 boxxers. Now, the axle has become unusable due to a large amount of thread being stripped off and as far as I'm aware, they don't sell this type of axle anymore. I know a very skilled machinist who is willing to make me one, but cannot identify the type of thread. Does anybody know what type of thread it is? It really is quite urgent as this is what's holding me back from buying the bike.

    Maxels are readily available.

    but it really depends on what is fitted to your forks. as Boxxers had a number of different axels used.
