Shimano Gear Cable Adjusters

Hi All.

Just a quick question sitting on the bike when wanting to take you cable slack on shimano Deore rapid fire gear adjusters to you turn them away from the bars or towards them ??

Anti clockwise when looking towards the shifter.... So top away and bottom towards the bar on the right shifter, opposite on the left (which is why towards and away is a really bad way to talk about it!)

You could always go mad and look at the cable at the derailleur when you are turning the adjuster...
