Buying Advice Cyclescheme

Hi Im new here not new to mountain biking although I've been using a road bike for the last three years . My work has now started a cycle to work scheme so i have £1000 to spend on a new bike , I'm currently looking at two models :

or a cube ltd pro 29 http://www.cube.eu/uk/bikes/mtb-hardtai ... blue-2015/

Im favouring the cube at the moment i just wanted peoples opinions am i missing a gem somewhere from another manufacturer ? . I currently have a Giant downhill set up that I've had no issues with but i really like the cube.

    the cube has the better spec, but try and get a test of both to see which u prefer

    As above the cube has a better overall spec but give them a test ride as it is down to the bike you prefer riding.
