Not for me - chance would be a fine thing! A mate is looking to buy new, something in the line of FS more for XC than downhill.

I notice heavy discounts on a bikes make by Sunn. I've never heard of them before but researching them they've been around a bit.

They look decent enough, some of the specs seemed to indicate they use dated gear (which no doubt still works well - I love me Elixir 1's!) Anyone owned a Sunn?

Paul's cycles have an Anthem for under £1K which is a great buy and exactly what you seem to be asking for.

Sunn are good bikes, but DO NOT believed the claimed weight, it is a work of fiction, they can't weigh what they claim (easy enough to tot up known component weights to see that), I understand they have gone bust so the 'warranty' wil be through the selling company not Sunn if that is true.

Have a look in the buying advice forum, a few recent references to Sunn, but you may have to use the search function.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Thanks Rookie. Quite fancy an Anthem myself - especially at that price.

Hadnt heard of Sunn until this week. I watched an Athertons video on YT and Max Commencal was on there. It was mentioned in the comments he started out at Sunn.
