    Cav for MSR
    Nibs doubles the Tour
    Porte wins a GT
    Sagan wins a monument
Wiggins comes top 3 in P-R. Sod it. He wins. Geraint 2nd.
  • I'll go with the same prediction as 2014. Sep Vanmarcke to win Paris Roubaix.

Quintana for the Tour. Nibs doesn't even make the podium. Cav wins MSR. Wiggins close but no cigar at Paris Roubaix (but he SMASHES the hour record). Aru for the Giro.

Not predictions as such but things i'm looking forward to/expecting:

    - A re-invigorated Cav challenging Kittel's dominance with canny moves in the sprints
    - The renaissance of Carlos Betancur, particularly in the Ardennes
    - A tactical barrage against Froome in Le Tour, deliver by Nibali, Quintana and Contador
    - The rise of Esteban Chaves
    - An ever-determined and hopefully victorious Sep Vanmarcke
    - A very motivated Tom Boonen
    - Kwiatkowski doing the rainbow bands justice
    - The development of the Adam and Simon Yates

Froome will be better placed this year in the tdf with Nieve, Konig, Roche, Porte, Kennaugh, Henao. It wouldn't surprise me to see just climbers for Sky.

Bit more action in this thread wouldn't go amiss! All this talk of licence commissions and doping doctors is getting lame.

I'll put some more in the ring:

-MTN's new sprint train will be a shambolic disaster with Bos, Goss, Farrer and Boasson Hagen basically all sprinting for themselves.
-RVV will be one by an outside tip while all the favourite's look at each other to make the first move on an even harder course. Boonen will be first of the favourites, cue an incensed Partick Lefevre.
-One of the young African riders on MTN will have a breakout season - one of Meintjes, Kudus or Berhane?
-Chaves will win a GT stage and crack the top 10 in at least one GT.
-Peter Kennaugh will leave Sky, frustrated by a lack of opportunities to ride in the top races and for himself in the smaller races. OGE, Garmin or BMC likely destinations.
-Davide Formolo will win a Giro stage.
-Dan Martin will do a Fleche Wallone and L-B-L double.

    Martin for LBL...
I presume that's Dan Martin not Tony Martin?

If Martin can avoid crashes and continues on the promise of last year he could be very prominent in 2015.

Vinokourov will 'retire' from cycling management to concentrate on his political career.

Depends on whether it's a breakaway from 200km out!

    Swift takes MSR.
    G top 10 in Flanders.
Stannard, G and Wiggins all top 10 at Roubaix, outwitted by OPQS.
Wiggins smashes Dowsett's new hour record.
    Nibali changes teams.
Quintana wins Tour, several favourites don't make it to the start.
Cav wins 4 Tour stages and goes on to surprise World's win.

It would be nice to see Cav back on song and competing with Kittel.

    A previous GT winner busted
    A Colombian GT winner
    A GB monument winner
    A French GT podium
    An American World Champion
  • Cav to win nothing top drawer, Kittel and bouhanni to divvy out the big stuff.
Roche to be last mountain man for sky and do not a lot. Porte to do nothing of note. Sagan to win a host of second tier races but no monuments.
Winners I find much harder. Contador for le tour. Giro I find impossible as nobody of note will even confirm their attendance and la Vuelta even harder as it's such a mix of riders who missed out earlier in the season.
Wiggins to fail at his monument goal before putting the hour record on the shelf.

Cancellara will finish outside of the top 3 in a monument...
  • Wiggins does the Hour Record before Martin and keeps it.
Astana get busted - disarray for Nibs pre-TdF
    Cav does nothing
    Quintana wins TdF
Thomas in top 5 for P-R
All the gear, but no idea...

    Never!

Although the pedant within me wants to say "even L-B-L and Lombardia?"

Along similar lines of remarkable consistency, but with a positive outlook - Adam Hansen to finish all three GT's again.

Wiggins to ride as many TT's as possible and to top 3 PR
    Stybar to win PR
    Thomas to win Flanders.
Kwia to have a wonderful year in the rainbow, and to win 3 or 4 major races
Wiggins not to do the Hour
    Contador to get busted
    Astana further doping issues
Nibali to do the double and win Giro and Tour
    Froome to win Veulta
MTN to do well but no WT level wins

Sagan finishes second in every race he enters and attempts to compensate by winning the bushiest beard in the peloton competition but finishes 998th.

    Love the prediction thread:

    1) The three Grand Tours will be won by three different riders.
    2) Sagan will go another year without a monument
    3) Kwiatkowski will have a good season in the rainbow jersey
    4) Wiggo won't podium in Paris Roubaix but will hold the hour record at the end of the year.
    5) My biggest prediction ---> Quintana will win the Tour.

Cancellara will finish outside of the top 3 in a monument...

Straight in with a 7th place finish for Cancellara at MSR
