    If Ocado aren't paying the drivers enough of a wage that they need tipping then you shouldn't be using the service in the first place.

    I did, once. We were staying at a holiday cottage in the Lake District and, instead of lugging a weeks worth of food with us, just got it delivered there. It was quite a weighty beer-based delivery so, yeah, gave him a fiver. He also recognised my somewhat obscure heavy metal t-shirt which helped his cause.

    The Polish driver that delivers to us is always very jovial so I figure that he's more than happy with his lot in life.

    Might order a bottle of something in the last shop before Christmas and give that as a gift.

    Phew, thats good. Thought maybe I was being rude lol.
    I would do as arran said though if it were ever the same driver.

    Did a similar thing with our postman once.
    Had a little goodie filled wiggle box to give him as a thank you for all the ones he had had to deliver to me over the year.

    So if the driver was less happy with his lot you would tip him? Or you wouldn't tip him because he was a miserable git? Is there some kind of middle ground between happy and miserable where tipping can commence?
