Shimano fhm475 10 speed compatability

Hello, I have a Shimano fhm475 deore hub with an 8sp 11-32 cassette and I am wanting to upgrade to a 10speed cassette but on Shimanos website it says that it is only for 8-9speed use but from what I have read that all 8-10speed cassettes are interchangeable if you have the right spacers. Is this correct?
I thought I should ask before i spend any money.

Is the cassette in the link above likely to come with the spacer needed?
Would i need to get 10speed chain rings or would I be okay with using the old 8speed chainrings?
And finally, If this would not work could someone suggest a 10speed setup on a tight budget that is with a disk compatible rear wheel.
any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes it will fit and the spacer is probably included.0

tiagra does not come with a spacer. neither do any of the MTB cassettes.

yes your crankset will "work" but the shifting will not be great.
you will also need new chain and shifters.
and may be more but that does really depend on what you have and what you plan on buying."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thankyou for all the help.
I went to the link that was posted for the Q&A and i found this:With Shimano factory wheels, you never need a spacer to fit an 8-speed or 9-speed cassette. You'll need a thin spacer (4.5mm) to fit a 7-speed cassette on any modern 8/9/10 speed hub, since the whole cassette is narrower. For most Shimano wheels you need a thin spacer to fit a 10-speed cassette (which should come with the cassette if bought separately) due to the recess.
Tiagra and MTB (wide ratio) do not use a spacer.
Is this correct in saying that the Tiagra and MTB cassettes do not come with spacers because they are not needed?
Also thank you about the chainring info, I think I will keep the old one unless i find the need for better front shifting.0 -
Tiagra and MTB do not need a spacer so don't come with one."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
