Replacement BB for GT nomad sport 2007

My wife has a GT nomad sport 2007 and I need to replace the bottom bracket. Could anyone recommend a replacement as I am getting pretty confused?

The only information I can find is that it needs a "Shimano Cartridge".

    Square taper, 122mm axle, UN23 or UN55 to budget would be my suggestion, or a Neco if you are looking to save weight at a sensible price.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
