Hi all,

Do brake levers designed for cable disc brakes also work with rim brakes? or is the pull action /cable housing size different?

If you get the right ones.

V and MTB cable discs use the same pull.

Canti and road disc use the same pull.

OK - thanks Nick. The rear brake I have is a side pull cable brake.

Side pull isn't a brake type, but it could describe V-brakes or mini v-brakes (pretty rare and only really seen on cyclocross) the latter use the same cable pull ratio as cantilever /road brakes.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
