Car rack for Full Suspension Bikes?

I have a elderly but in good nick, ford fiesta. and a year old Giant Trance, which unlike the older hardtrail before it, doesn't fit that well on the bikerack which is a old Halfords model?
It does fit but not elegantly, I assume there must be some rear carriers that fit Full suspension bikes?

What size frame? My large Trance fitted on a Saris Bones rack but a smaller frame wouldn't because of the shock position.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
