I've decided to treat myself to a MTB in the new year and think I am going to go for a Canyon but can't decide which would be a better for the trails of Epping Forest, so if anyone has a bit of local knowledge would appreciate..... I am basically a road biker but as this is on my doorstep seems rude not to have a go on the rough stuff too  !

Both bikes will cope with Epping.

I've ridden it on a rigid as we all did back in the 80's.

At this time you may need to change the tyres as Epping is a bogfest at the moment, as are lots of Essex trails, all that clay underneath with zero drainage.
Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"
