Garmin 500 course speed

Hi

When I upload a course to my 500 it has a preset speed of 10km/h, I know i can change this but only to 200% of the base speed (10km/h). Is there anyway to change this base speed for the course?

    No true, but just been playing around and found it weird how you couldn't adjust it.

    Can you tell my wife has X factor on the TV?!

    Its nothing more than a guesstimate of time to complete the course. I'd say 99% certainty that it doesn't even transfer to the edge

    If I'm understanding your issue correctly, If you have the virtual partner switched on it will use that speed as the comparison. Otherwise it means nothing as the others have said.

    If you do want to change it go into the course in Garmin Connect edit the course and on the right hand side you should be able to change the speed there.

    If you create a course from a ride you have already done the speed will be taken from the speed you did the ride at.
