    I think the op is just another victim :D

    I started the whole cycling thing 3 years ago on a mtb as a cheaper "new hobby". Was into racing quad bikes but the money I was spending on upkeep was getting crazy.

    Since then ive bought 3 mountain bikes and a road bike (looking to get a a new carbon road bike early next year).

    I wouldn't like to say on hear how much money I've thrown in the hole. I've got a huge amount of gear. Purchased 3 helemts this year alone lol.

    I love cycling though. Money well spent ?. I'll let you decide.
