Warning - shameless charity raising plug.
A work colleague came into my office an hour or so ago, spotted my bike and said "I'll give £50 to charity if you cycle to work as Santa"
Not being one to duck out of this kind of challenge, I accepted, and promptly set up a virgin money giving webpage

I've not been cycling much in the past 4 months due to other commitments and doing some running (!! don't worry, I've given up that ridiculous activity now), so the 10 mile ride into work is a little challenging. It'll be even more so with the drag of a santa outfit.
For those who may see me enroute, I cycle from Hucknall to Mansfield, up the A60 mostly (strava link - http://www.strava.com/activities/223642721

Well, it's been done.
Through the wind, rain, snow, sleet. I battled to work (OK, it's only 10 miles, so not too much of a battle) dressed in a Santa outfit.
I got a few waves, a few beeps, and arrived soaked!
Still time to donate if you are feeling charitable....

I hope my kit dries out before it's time to go home!0 -
Excellent - niceone ...
although I'm a bit disappointed that you haven't put christmas lights on your bike ...
I did a few weeks of riding to work with christmas lights on the rack and top tube - accompanied by a santa hat too Didn't bother with the rest of the outfit although I do normally wear a red jacket....0
