Or something else?
Need a winter bike, got all the bits (bar some finishing kit) so just need the frame
Thoughts? Needs to take at least 25mm with guards

It's just a hill. Get over it.

Depends on your budget. If I was choosing today I'd get a Kinesis 4S.
I have the original Tk which is entering it's 7th winter. Full SKS Chromoplastics and 25mm GP4S tyres. Still a hoot to ride.0 -

Happy CK7 user here. I like the looks in battleship grey, slightly "classic" with plain round tubes. I'd recommend it, takes 28mm tyres with full on SKS guards and Miche Performance long drop brakes. Mines built up with SRAM Apex.Titus Silk Road Ti rigid 29er - Scott Solace 10 disc - Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 disc - Scott CR1 SL - Pinnacle Arkose X 650b - Pinnacle Arkose singlespeed - Specialized Singlecross...& an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string...0

In the Kinesis, a 51 ie 54cm top tube (think it's 545, which is identical to my Cinelli ). Can't decide between black or blue; white is frankly a weird choice for a winter bike.

CK7 frame fork and headset will cost around £300 if you can get a good deal. Headset is £15 and frame RRP is £239. Fork RRP is around £119 so ypu see with a online bargin or a haggle at a shop ~£300 is doable, you have to fork out a bit more but not much.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
