Was given a rare Eddy Merckx signed print recently as a birthday present. Would love to get his signature on it. Anyone got any bright ideas as to how one goes about getting this?
Google returns a couple of agencies who sort out speaking arrangements which say in no uncertain terms they will not respond to autograph requests!

Is the print signed by the artist and do you now want to have it signed by the subject?
No idea about how you get Eddy's signature. Try writing to him and ask. Lives next door to his old bike factory, so the address shouldn't be too hard to find though I suspect that he's like Santa or the Pope and that if you wrote to Eddy Merckx, Belgium your letter would get there...or you could ask Alex Dowsett to ask Axel...0 -
Stalk him.

Forge it 8)
Much quicker way to increase the value and you will be able to re sell for Xmas.
Why is it rare? Did Eddy Grant sign it by mistake?0 -

Ah that was a stupid way of putting it. It’s not a signed print. It is a print that wants to be signed.Canyon AL Ultimate 9.00

How do you know it wants to be signed ? It would be cruel if it didn't want to be signed....
I think the only way you'll get this signed is by seeing him in person - so look out for any big cycle events in the UK (unless you really want to go to Belgium ?)
Cycle shows or Revolution or when the Tour next starts here...0 -
Sign, sign, everywhere a sign, blocking out the scenery, breaking my mind, do this, don't do that, can't you read the signs?
