Anyone out there thinking of doing this? Armchair or riding?

    I'm planning on riding it in the realtively near future. Was really hoping to do it in 2016 but realistically that won't happen so will likely be 2017, been an ambition to do it for years, just not had the time/money with uni etc.

    I still haven't decided yet but thought it would be fun/interesting to prepare for it. I've started bike packing. Which is also going to be done on my road bike. Geneva to Nice etc.
    Just wondering if it is worth making the move across to a 29er.
