Dura Ace 9070 Di2, how to move rear derailleur more than+12?

Is it starting in the right gear? If it thinks it's in 5th gear (e.g.) and is actually in 6th or 4th when you start, it will run out of steps. Note the number of steps in each direction and be on the middle gear for the middle adjustment. [Easier to think/know than describe, but you'll get it. Probably.]0

If your running out, maybe the cassette does not have the correct spacer(s)?!?0

More likely the OP needs to align his derailleur hanger. Easy to be more than 12 steps out if the hanger's bent. There's no way to increase the adjustment on the RD, BTW.0

Can you not reset/zero the rear derailleur and then set it up again? This is what I've had to do with EPS when swapping between Campag and Zipp wheels. It's very easy to do, would be amazed if Di2 doesn't have a similar function.
