Been looking at these;

anyone got any?
How do they stack up against Hope, Avid, Shimano etc for quality?
Any advice appreciated...

Floating rotors are pointless on bicycles.

What are you trying to achieve by changing the disc? Or are you looking to get a disc and not replacing one, if so what do you want from it?
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Pointless. The rivets hit some calipers and they add weight for no performance increase.

Not changing a disc...building a bike; part own bits, part F&F&S&SP...

    Qualify/quantify your statement...?
    Are you over 100kgs?
are you regularly riding past the limit of 'regular' disc
    brakes/pads/rotors...

then why would you say any 'advances' in disc brakes are pointless??
If they stay cooler/are less prone to deformation/glazing/brake fade, then why are they 'pointless' ?

You are saying a lot of things. Mainly wrong.

Why are they any of the things you say?

If you want power, get bigger rotors or better brakes.

I am saying they are pointless because they are. On a bicycle they don't do any of the things you want. Except cause issues (see RMSC's post) and look blingy.

Have a look at this page and count the number of floating and 'regular' rotors. And I am pretty sure these guys use their brakes a lot harder than you could ever dream of.

Stop swallowing the marketing pills, get a decent regular disc, floating create more hassles than they fix, warping resistance is the only benefit, they overheat faster for example due to poorer heat transfer to the hub, so the 'benefits' you list mostly don't exist at all and they will usually end up being changed as they get play at the retainers and rattle.
