Im looking at buying a new pair of forks for my DMR wrath 26 inch jump bike:
http://www.dmrbikes.com/products/bikes/wrath

The forks I want to buy have these specs:
1.1/8" - 1.5" Tapered - Steerer dinameter
15mm bolt through
and have 100mm of travel.

To fit the forks to my bike I think I would have to replace the hub on the front wheel as currently it is just a normal axle.
Can anyone show me a good hub for a jump bike for preferably under 100, it must also fit the forks specified.

Thank You!

    You said 26" - you linked to a 24"

You (if that's the right bike) have a straight head tube. The forks have a tapered steerer. They won't fit.

Agreed, we could suggest a fork as you spec, but it won't be any use on the bike you've linked to, additionally a suspension fork is going to change the geometry quite a lot as that fork isn't suspension corrected.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • Yes, sorry. The bike I have has two versions the 24inch and 26 inch version:
    Specs of the bike: http://www.dmrbikes.com/products/bikes/wrath

So the forks wont fit the frame? Is there no way around this, for example adapters?
Also I have the black version :)
  • The Forks I was looking at buying were:

And these have also caught my attention:

Would the second forks I linked fit with no touble?

    Thank you!

The Marathons will fit, but where are you going to put the brakes? No canti mounts.

    And this

Perhaps you may want to tell us what you are trying to achieve here, how much you want to spend as well.

The bike isn't designed for suspension forks, your best bet is to buy a new bike if you NEED suspension....what makes you think you do?
