BB and crankset replacement

I have a Shimano Octalink BB and crank set, M391 crankset which uses one of these

BB ES-25 Octalink

I want to upgrade the crankset to the M770 9 speed

My bike has a 73mm wide shell. Will it be a straightforward swap? Is there anything I need to consider when making the swap?

Straightforward swap of bbs. Ditch two of the spacers, using the remaining one on the drive side. The need different tools btw.

Thanks. I might actually ask a shop to fit it, to save me buying the tools.

That tool will remove existing and fit the new ? The post above implied I needed two separate tools.

You do need two. One to remove the Octolink and one to fit the BB2
