Has anybody been invited to join and been accepted? If so are you going to join for £200 pa?

    Yes - accepted. Applied to see if I'd get in to be honest.

    Can't see me using it anywhere near enough to make it worth £200 though. I live outside London so any rides are a non-starter. I don't use the travel stuff, and I don't order enough to make the free shipping upgrade worthwhile.

    I've got premium membership for £500. It means I get to ride at the front of the bunch and get a standard member assigned to be my domestique.

    Looked at it, half tempted, looked at what I would use and decided there are probably better places to put my £200. Now if they added early entry to the sale as a perk....

    Not at all .. You've got to admire the marketing job (backed up by good product) that they've done on people.

    Would I pay £200 to join their "club" ... Nah ... But carry on if it's useful to you.

    I haven't. Myself and a friend applied to see if acceptance was in any way related to spend.

    You don't pay the £200 when you apply. Only if you choose to accept it.

    What were your findings, is it related to spend? Or did you write something they couldn't resist?

    He hasn't heard yet so I don't know.

    We were both IW although we never could work out how that worked.

    Im not sure who the person is that can take full advantage of this club.
    Someone who travels the world on regular basis with time to go on long rides and race;
    who buys new kit on a regular basis;
    probably doesnt have a job, otherwise wouldnt have the time to train and travel;
    or a family;
    probably lives on their own;
    between 25 and 40;
    very wealthy.
    Interesting demographic.

    I applied purely to see if I got accepted. I did. Am I going to join? No. I work offshore so travel a lot, but not to the places where a bike could be borrowed. My rotation for work means I a, home for 28 days at a time but weekends are devoted to my family, weekdays are my time for rides, so that rules out their club rides I expect. I also live near Winchester so that rules out using the London base for anything. All in all I think it is a good idea if you can take advantage of any of their offers but it isn't for me.
