Hi all,
We are pleased to announce that once again we will be holding The Polkadot Challenge. Based in South Manchester, the route will take in some of the toughest climbs around the Peaks, some famous and some lesser known but leg burning none the less. The event will be held on the 24th of May 2015 at the Woodford Community centre. Online entries are now being taken on the BC website. We offer group and team entries. Postal entries will can be sent to you to download,please message me if you would like one.

If that's the case, it is sad... it is one of the 3 oldest sportives in the country. I have the feeling the market is saturated with events and some struggle to survive. It is annoying to see corporate events run for profit popping up while those ran by local clubs for a good cause suffer... it is really really sad.

If I read the message on the website http://www.polkadotchallenge.co.uk/ correctly, it's not just this year but forever

I confess I haven't ridden since it's been under new management but, if I was going to ride any UK event, it would be the Polkadot. Shame.
