After looking and looking, I have made my mind up on a new bike its going to be a ROSE but I'm beating myself up about it and don't know which one to choose from?

I think I should be swinging more to the Granite Chief, but the Uncle jimbo being 200quid cheaper and pretty much the same equipment.
Just unsure, but definitely need to sort this issue out as I am flapping about now and just need to ride!

Both are very good but which is best depends on what sort of riding you do.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

I ride all really, whether it be a ride in the forest or sticking the bikes in the van and out to the bike park! All and everything really.
I mean they both have similar travel, just frame geometry is the difference.0 -
I haven't ridden this years models but I did ride the 26" versions. The Uncle Jimbo is more of an enduro bike, more effort on the climbs but a beast on the descents. The Granite Chief is noticeably easier up hill and not quite as burly for really gnarly stuff.
Personally I would have the Granite Chief but if I was doing regular alpine trips and serious enduro racing I would have the Uncle Jimbo.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Well I think the uncle Jimbo would be abit to much bike for what I need.
So think It is going to be the granite chief 2
What is your view on discs, got the choice of shimano XT or avid elixir 9 trails0 -
XT definitely, infinitely better than Elixir 9's.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
