Chamois creme might be good for a laugh if opening in front of work colleagues.
Assuming its a man, shave creme and razor might have a similar effect, especially if you can get all 3 for a tenner.

I just got some Defeet gloves for a tenner I think. Excellent for temps when it's too cold for fingerless but too hot for winter gloves.

You'd need to know what size though

..check out the Save Our Soles sock range on Planet X....some cool designs and very comfy....a pair of merino and a pair of coolmax should just about be on budget...
