Oversocks for SPD shoes

Anybody know of any?
Spd's because I have to walk both ends of my commute, walk the Kids to school and then hack across gravel from the Cycle shed to the office. My toes don't get mahoosively cold to really justify a full boot or neoprene....maybe a thin base layer merino sock may be the way to go?

My oversocks always get mangled really quickly if I do any significant walking in them. Not sure I'd bother with merino, just the usual nylon jobbies, probably worth going a size larger to cover the SPD sole.0

Do they need to be spd specific?0

The Prendas ones work. Eventually you'll wear through but they are pretty cheap. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

If your toes don't get that cold, what do you need full oversocks for?
You could try the toe-warmers (no, really!).

I'd go for 2 pairs of thin socks. If you use overshoes / toe covers, then they're just going to get ripped to shreds when you walk on them.
If it's really cold / wet, then I use Endura Road Overshoes as they are kevlar reinforced on the sole - but I'm on my second pair of those as I wore the sole out on the first pair by wearing them with spd shoes0
