Yet another tyre thread

I've had a quick search and didn't see a clear answer.
Basically, I'm finding myself doing road riding, river towpath (that can get a bit muddy), and some gravel tracks (covered with wet leaves at the moment though).
At the moment, I've got Kendra Komando tyres which came with the bike, but the rear needs replacing soon anyway. I'm not worried about having puncture proof tyres as I run the Slime innertubes which I find great. Main thing is the new tyres are good on wet roads as that's really putting me off riding at the moment.
Any good recommendations on them? I'm lost when it comes to looking for good tyres.
Cheers

Cheers for the replies guys. Been looking at the Sammy Slicks, and they seem to have good reviews, my main question is are they good in the wet? I don't think my current tyres are particularly good in the wet and it puts me off riding my bike at the moment.0

Mostly tarmac. I had a knee operation in June, and the last thing I want to do is come off my bike because of crap tyres and land on my knee. I've also recently taken up running, and I had to get trainers with a fair amount of support in them for a bit of extra cushioning on my knee, and because I now also over pronate on my right foot a little since the operation. But I don't want to overdo the running and hurt me knee, so I still want to do a fair amount of cycling over the winter as it's much much easier on it. But for that, I want tyres that I can feel confident that they will grip the road.0

After reading loads of reviews of various tyres, I've decided to get the Sammy Slicks. Looking forward to getting them on the bike and out for a big ride! Thanks for all the help0

Just seen this.
I replaced the Sammy Slicks on my CAADX communter, 5 punctures in 3 weeks - that's 3 more than the previous 2 years combined (different bike and tyres though)
Replaced with 37mm Vittoria Randonneur Pro Folding £9.99 - or £14.99 with reflective band. Also in a more aggressive tread "cross" tyre for the same price
