Garmin Vector S - swapping between bikes

Does anyone know or think of a reason why it would be an issue to mix the left pedal from the Garmin S (the single power pedal version) with a right hand Look Keo Max 2 pedal. I'll be swapping it from numerous bikes so just wondered if I can get away with only swapping the power side pedal when moving between bikes. I can't see why it would be an issue but thought I'd see if anyone does this and found anything feeling 'odd' when riding.

I have just purchased a set of Garmin Vector S after yes/no/yes/no for months and months about a power meter.
Sold a set of handbuilts so had the money for it... just
Apparently they dont work when separated.
This is according to a polite gentleman from the German online company selling them for a good Euro price.
So I forked out for the complete S set on his advice.
I just hope he wasnt telling me porkies, thats all.

As far as I know you have to buy the complete S set however the left pedal (the power meter one) should work by itself. I think what he meant is you can buy the right power pedal (the upgrade kit) but it won't work without the left pedal. On the Vector S there is no gadgetry in the right pedal...at least as far as I know.

Isnt the calibration of it more time consuming than swapping the other pedal ? I've not got them but a mate has and he says its not as easy as he thought.

Have you taken into account the different sizes of the pedals?

I'm unsure how much actual difference it makes, but I've been told that the 'large' which I need to go with my Chorus gruppo isn't compatible with my winter bike (ultegra).

    Shrug?
