Tried this in workshop, but didn't get any answers. Would be interested to hear your thoughts...

I am aware that Shimano 11sp/SRAM 11sp and Campag 11sp are all now more or less cross compatible, so how does this work:

It seems someone has machined a shimano 11sp cassette to fit on a 10sp freehub to work with campag 11sp.

"Its called the Wheels Manufacturing Accelerator 11-speed Conversion cassette by Wheels Manufacturing of course. You can install 11 speed on a Shimano 8, 9 , 10 speed body. Excelsports carries them, but they are pricey. "

Surely in that case it will work with Shimano 11sp, given it is compatible with Campag 11sp?

Yes, it'll probably work. Another option which I'm currently using on my spare pair of wheels is to run an 11 speed Shimano cassette with the bottom cog (11t) removed. If you set the limit screws and cable tension correctly, you'll have 10 working gears. Fine for me since I rarely use the 11t anyway.
