I'm buying second hand and I'm taking a gamble on eBay. My budget is pretty flexible but I'm aiming for well under £300. I'm looking for a bike for general commuting and trails. I'm 5'2.
I'm ready to buy any one of these but wondering if one stands out as vastly superior/inferior. I have a vague ranking in my head but what do you think? Which would you buy and what would your max bid be? I'd really appreciate it it you can find the time to take a look and let me know. Thanks.

The Whyte is by far the best but I doubt you will get it within budget. Failing that the Giant isn't bad.
I do like the Rockrider, just for those bar ends

Assuming you didnt go for any of the ones that have now ended then the Whyte woul dbe my choice - looks virtually unridden, had good reviews and is decently kitted out. But I suspect if you bid 300 you will be outbid very easily.
    Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.
  • Thanks, I can flex the budget if it's worth it.
