Chain Connector Tools

Hi,
I'm a definite newbie so apologies if this question is incredibly stupid!
I've recently bought a KMC Z7 chain to go on my hybrid. I'm planning on changing it at the weekend because my current chain has just failed the '0.75%' test. The powerlink it came with is not removable and I like to get the chain off the bike for a thorough clean regularly, particularly over the horrible British winters.
What chain connector can I buy which will allow me to remove and re-attach as frequently as I like? By the way, pin length on the Z7 is 7.3mm.
Thanks for your help.

Don't call me that.
I'm pretty sure (and Google confirms) that all the KMC chains come with the "Missing Link" to remove/refit without tools.
Most of what you want can be achieved with a solvent-soaked rag once a week, anyway. Save the chain removal for the Deep Clean.Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.0 -
PowerLink and PowerLock are SRAM terms, the first being reusable the second not.
KMC call their chain links Missing Links, some are designed to be reused, others not.

Many people successfully reuse the ones designed not to be, YMMV.
If the new chain says it's link isn't reusable and you'd rather not risk it, you can always buy the relevant sized reusable ones separately. Just google for KMC 7 speed missing link.

and choose the correct pin length0 -
Thanks Keef, I'd rather not risk it so the proper ones are in the post.0
