Hi I just picked up my new 2015 model Wilier Gtr 105 and when I got it home I notice that down by the front derailer there is a hole in the frame. That is not being used should this hole have a plug in it as this is a carbon frame as its near the bottom bracket as well ? If so should I go back to the shop and see if they got one for it :?:

Probably a drainage hole? Unless it's bigger then it's a cable routing hole. A picture would help!
  • I would not say it's a drainage hole as it's a bit higher up from the front mech but I already got a got a cable running to that from anther hole would this hole be for shimano's DI2 as I know the frame is ready for it ?

The frame is Di2 ready and the hole should have a small rubber grommet in it. Speak to your shop where you got the bike from and ask for it. There are 2 holes on the downtube near to the BB that are for securing an external battery. These should also have blanking screws in them.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
