Nukeproof OKLO dropper post

Anyone got/seen the new NUKEPROOF OKLO dropper.
Looks to be about £160.
Cable operated hydraulic raise/lower.

Apparently they've spent time sorting the internals (triple keyway and extra seals) to try and improve reliability.

Anyone seen/tried one?

I'm guessing they are pretty new and only 20 quid less than a reverb - you'd have to really want to be different to break with the standard wouldn't you - and even then you have the Lev or Thompson or Fox to go to.

Get one and let us know!

Got one earlier this week for my #2 bike. I already have a Thomson and I like cables so the Oklo was a strong contender. Any criticism at this price point would be churlish the Oklo is like SLX to the Thomson's XTR. They operate in an almost identical way but whereas the Thomson's action is crisp and precise and urgent the Oklo has a more relaxed feel to it. Trail instead of race. Have only used it a few times so can't comment on reliability but it feels encouragingly good from new.

Safe design no surprises easy to fit and a doddle to set up

Yeah that's it really the Thomson kindof shoots up and down like its in a race whereas the Oklo rises smoothly and just kisses my ass!

I was pleasantly surprised by it. I thought it might be cheap knock off but for the price I think its pretty good
