hi i have a edge810 with out no mapping ive herd that there is away of downloading a free osm and then using it on the unit? can someone recommend to me where to get it and how to get it on to the edge 810

When i die I just hope the wife doesn't sell my stuff for what I told her I paid for it other wise someone will be getting a mega deal!!!

Yep on that I'm finding it quite hard as to transferring the map to the unit ??? Drag and past in to new filed on my micro sd card is saying that's it on there when I check the garmin and go to maps and enable there is only the base map...I can't figure out where I'm going wrongWhen i die I just hope the wife doesn't sell my stuff for what I told her I paid for it other wise someone will be getting a mega deal!!!

Just looked at the file structure on mine and the 'gmapsupp' file is in the Garmin folder on the SD card. Turn on and enable the maps and it should work.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Downloaded a os map and used base camp on garmin to send it to my device God knows how it done it but it's in there and works fine
