Just fitting an FSA Gossamer crankset but it appears the crankset didn't come with any O-Rings that is supposed to sit between the BB cup (MegaExo) and the crank arms.

Is it really that important? Do I need it?

What BB type is it? It it a new build or a replacement? If the latter just use the old ones currently on the bike.

Thought I'd answer my own question, in case anyone ever wonders...it seems they are pre-installed on the BB..

It's a "new" build - going from Campag to FSA (P2M)

Watch the torque on the left crank arm. I personally know of two bikes where it has come loose (rider had it drop off on one during a ride) despite being torqued correctly and there are many reports on forums of similar occurrences.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
