6'4 First time buying a mountain bike (£500-£650)

Hi all. I'm 6'4 and not sure on what bike would be best for me. I mainly plan to do downhill mountain biking with some jumps. Used to BMX for 3 years and now moving onto mountain biking. I know nothing about mountain bikes and what to buy so I came here. My budget is around £550 but can be pushed to £650. Some recommendations would be great. Thanks!

No downhill bikes exist at this price unless getting second hand. Need to keep an eye on Ebay and the classifieds for suitable models, is a bit variable to say exactly which ones.

And check carefully. DH bikes tend to get ridden quite hard. Bits like forks are expensive.
