FOD Tyres help

Hi guys, I'm off the FOD this Saturday for an uplift for the first time. Not been before and know it will be we and don't know if I will be ok with my minions (2.35 single ply 60a) of if I should get the Swampthings on as I don't what FOD gets like when wet?

    Minions will be fine. It never gets muddy enough for mud tyres to dig an and work properly. There will be a lot of standing water but the ground will be solid.
    Be prepared for a good soaking and remember goggles.

    Never mind the umbrella. Jusr remember goggles to keep the water out of your eyes. This time of year there will be standing water for a couple days after rain.

    Really on the uplift? I found the place to be fairly soft in the wet on the DH courses, the xc are like concrete though with 0 mud...

    Just go to a wet DH race there, no one uses mud tyres. It might get a little soft on the surface but an inch below it's solid. Lots of standing water though.
